The Problem

Most DECA students navigate competition by themselves.

How roleplay really works. What separates a good written event from a great one. How to prep for the biggest stages. The competitors who've been to state and ICDC have those answers — they just never had a way to share them. Until now.

Common questions

Everything you need to know before getting started.

Is DECA Square free to use?
Yes! Completely free for both students and mentors.
How does the mentorship connecting work?
Students browse through mentor profiles, then send a request to the ones they want. Mentors review the request and choose to accept or decline. No complicated matching — just real connections between real people on both sides.
What events and clusters are covered?
All of them. Mentors list their specific events and experience on their profiles. From Personal Finance to Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or Hospitality, DECA Square has it covered. Search and filter to find someone who knows your exact event.
Who can become a mentor?
Any experienced DECA competitor ready to give back. State qualifiers, ICDC competitors, state officers, chapter officers, and college DECA alumni are all welcome. If you've competed and want to help the next generation of competitors, this is for you.
